Everyone wants to make their beloved garden look good than ever before. You can add value to your residential area if you use advance technology and modern lawn alternatives while remodeling it. If you have a firm level base of your ground you are ready to measure up and order your turf online or from a local turf supplier. There a number of guides available that focus on this ground preparation phase but here we shall discuss laying the turf. There a many guides available that focus on this ground preparation phase but here we shall discuss laying the turf.

Start by laying the first roll of turf along the longest straight edge which should be furthest away from your home. This will avoid walking over the previously laid turf. Continue to lay the turf roll and ensure that the end of edges is closely butted up against each other properly.

To start the next row cut a roll in half and use that. This will mean the joints along the row will be staggered and avoids gaps if any shrinking occurs from a lack of irrigation.  Again ensure the second rows ends are properly butted against each other and also that the ends are butted up against the first row. Completing laying the new lawn, alternating the first roll in each between a full and half roll to stagger the joints.
